Online Scheduling
Online scheduling is available through a confidential scheduling service for healthcare professionals. Current clients can click this link to go directly to my online calendar to schedule a regular appointment at any time. Please note that email and text are not confidential so you may want to limit information provided via those avenues.
Fees
The standard fee is $250 per session hour payable by cash, check, or card. I do sometimes have a few sliding scale slots available, starting at $150 per hour. Typical per session charges are:
- Consultation appointment: No charge
- 3 hour initial appointment: $750
- 2 hour ongoing appointment: $500
Insurance
I am not paneled with any insurance company and am unable to bill insurance on behalf of clients. Your relationship (rather than an individual) is the focus and identified client in these forms of counseling. Most insurance plans do not deem these services medically necessary and decline to cover them. For this reason, reimbursement for our sessions from your insurance may not be possible and, when covered, your relationship counseling sessions may be limited to 50 minutes. If you have questions about your coverage, I recommend contacting your insurer and asking, “Under my plan, is CPT code 90847 with ICD-10 diagnosis code Z63.0 a covered benefit?” I’d be happy to talk with you about questions you may have; however, you remain responsible for paying for any services you choose to receive.
